NRA New Shooter Seminar

This NRA Clinic is about 2 hours long, meant to highlight the basic
knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for selecting, safely handling, storing and cleaning a firearm.

 NRA Basic Pistol Course

The Basic Pistol course is an eight hour course. Students will get the Basics of Pistol Shooting  and receive an extensive lesson in safety, gun handling, the various types of pistols, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, various pistol firing positions, several practical exercises on the firing range, cleaning, storage, and a summary of pistol sports and activities

The NC Concealed Carry Course is an eight hour course plus range time. Students will learn:

Advanced Pistol Class

The advanced pistol class is two days of classroom/range instruction that teaches you the fundamentals of reaction in a firefight. Students learn target acquisition skills, target selection, engage in multiple targets using multiple positions and cover. Students will go through 1000 rounds of ammunition in the two day period. Class is limited to five students.

Active Shooter Response Training

The Active Shooter Response Training Program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills to successfully handle an active threat event. This program will provide the student with the proficiency and aptitude through hands on training to manage these situations. The program takes Active Shooter Response Training to the next level utilizing dynamic interactive drills and scenario based training. This program is an intensive training program that covers a variety of tactical subject matters. Learn to stay alive by completing this course.

NRA Refuse to Be A Victim

The single most important step toward ensuring your own safety is having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim. Seminars are held frequently and are open to men and women of all ages. Today, hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officials from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives. Corporations, educational institutions and community centers have also adopted the program. All told, more than 100,000 people have benefited from these seminars.

Refuse To Be A Victim Collegiate Edition

​The Refuse To Be A Victim program teaches methods for your students to improve their personal safety. Focusing on topics from general campus life to the dangers of sexual assault, RTBAV aims to provide students with knowledge and strategies to help them avoid being a victim.
After years of requests from our instructors and communities across the nation, Refuse To Be A Victim is excited to now offer a brand-new collegiate edition. Based off the award-winning RTBAV crime prevention program, the collegiate edition takes the same tips and techniques taught in RTBAV onto college campuses. The program aims to teach methods to improve personal safety by increasing awareness, avoiding dangerous situations, and preventing criminal confrontations. The college seminar also covers social media, living on campus, student life, and more!
Designed to fit into the lives of busy college students, the collegiate edition was developed to last 40 minutes to an hour, matching the length of a classroom session. We offer free training for Law Enforcement and Campus Safety personnel that allows you to teach on your campus. Student materials for seminars are also provided at no cost. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (Healthcare Professional)
The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who should take this course?The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings.

What does this course teach?
  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR

​Heartsaver® CPR AED Course Options

Heartsaver CPR AED is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. All Heartsaver CPR AED course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.

Is AHA Heartsaver CPR AED the right course for me?
Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

Heartsaver CPR/AED Classes - $80
This course teaches adult, child and infant CPR and automated external defilbrillator (AED) use, as well as how to relieve chocking in an adult, child, or infant. This course teaches skills with the AHA's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills..
Time Involved: 2 Hours
Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.
Heartsaver First AId Class - $80
Heartsaver First Aid is a course that teaches strudents critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aird emergencies..
Time Involved: 2 Hours
Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.
Bloodborne Pathogens Class - $50
This course is designed and taught to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training.
This class is for anyone that may come in contact with blood or bodily fluids!
Time Involved: 1 Hour

Certification: A 1-year certification will be received upon completion of class, per OSHA standards.
Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED - $125
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult, child and infant CPR as well as AED use.
Time Involved: 4 Hours
Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens/First Aid/CPR/AED - $150
This combination class combines Bloodborne Pathogens with First Aid, CPR and AED. See descriptions above for more details.
Time Involved: 5 Hours

Reflex Protect Chemical Gel Training - $45
Reflex Protect® training provides instruction on what Reflex Protect® is, when and when not to use it, and how to use it. The training includes spraying inert training units to ensure each participant is comfortable with how to use Reflex Protect® to defend themselves or others. Each participant will be a certified Reflex Protect® user to comply with policies requiring certification.
